Carl W. Larsen (1919-1993) was a journalist and public affairs officer. He was a reporter for "Stars and Stripes," "Time," "Newsweek," and the "Chicago Sun-Times." In 1957, he entered the public affairs arena and worked for the Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Chicago, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Internal Revenue Service.
